collectibles for 100% in gta 6, what are we thinking?

Every GTA has had its own weird little scavenger hunt. Hidden packages in III and Vice City, oysters in San Andreas, pigeons in IV, spaceship parts in V. They always end up being the thing that makes me lose my mind trying to find the last one.

For Leonida, I keep going back and forth. Miami's got a whole art deco thing going on, so maybe little sculptures or murals scattered around Vice City and the Keys. Or Cuban cigars, that feels very Vice City. Could be hidden in cigar shops, beach bars, back alleys. I'd actually enjoy hunting those down more than random glowing orbs.

Someone mentioned car collectibles like LA Noire had. That could work if they tie it to the car culture down there. Classic rides parked in garages or under overpasses, you have to find them and bring them back to a safehouse. But that might overlap with whatever car theft side stuff they already have planned.

Then there's the classic hidden packages route. Just bring them back, no explanation needed. It worked in Vice City because the map was small enough that you could stumble on them. Leonida is huge though. If they do hidden packages, they'd need to be more visible or have some kind of in-game tracker, otherwise it's just a guide video waiting to happen.

I think my dream would be something tied to the wildlife or the Everglades area. Like rare orchids or gator teeth or something. But knowing Rockstar, they'll probably do something nobody expects. Maybe vintage postcards from all the tourist traps. That would fit the whole Florida vibe perfectly.

Whatever it is, I just hope it's not another 200 collectibles with no reward until you get all of them. Give me a little something every 25 or so. A weapon, a car, a outfit. Make it feel worth it before the final 100% screen.
