working panoramic sunroofs need to be a thing in gta 6
Saw a post on the main sub about this and it got me thinking. Rockstar's car customization in the extended look already looks insane, but one thing I haven't seen anyone mention much is sunroofs. Working panoramic sunroofs specifically.
Most games just paint a glass texture on the roof and call it a day. GTA RP servers and Assetto Corsa mods have done it for years, so the tech is clearly possible. But vanilla GTA has never really bothered. With the interior detail we're seeing in GTA 6, that feels like a missed opportunity.
The post made a good point about first person. If there's no first person mode, then the only time you see the inside of your car is when you're parked or in a cutscene. A sunroof that actually opens would let you look down into the cabin while driving, especially with the new camera angles. You'd see the seats, the dash, maybe Lucia's hand on the shifter. That's the kind of small thing that makes the world feel real.
I'm not asking for every car to have one. But if I'm paying for the Ultimate Edition and then grinding for a high end sports car, I want to open the roof and hear the wind. Maybe even stand up through it like you can in real life, though that's probably asking too much.
What do you all think, would working sunroofs actually add anything for you or is it just a gimmick?

Sunroof open, windows down, Flash FM blasting into the night air! Wind noise bleeding over a good needle drop is half the Vice City fantasy for me.
