rockstar keeps dodging weather questions and i think it's tied to the ending

Caught a clip where one of the YouTubers asked about weather and storms, and the Rockstar folks basically dodged it. They've been pretty open about other systems lately, so the silence on weather feels deliberate.

My theory is weather is tied to the ending. Jason and Lucia are on the run by the end, right? Air patrols, roadblocks, the whole state looking for them. A normal escape route would be suicide.

What if the final mission has them escaping by boat during a hurricane or a massive storm? Low visibility, rough seas, nobody flying in that. It would give Rockstar an excuse to show off the water physics and the storm system at the same time.

We've only seen a little thunder and some puddles in the footage so far. Florida gets proper rain, and Leonida is basically Florida. Rockstar wouldn't build a state like that and leave weather as a background detail.

I keep thinking about how they handled storms in RDR2. Those rolled in slow and changed the whole feel of the map. Now imagine that in Vice City with flooded streets while you're trying to slip past the patrols.

Would a hurricane escape feel too scripted or is that exactly the kind of set piece Rockstar would pull off?

A scripted finale set piece is Rockstar's signature, so a storm escape tracks. San Andreas ended with a fire truck chase through riots. A hurricane fits that mold.
