someone made a gta style map of london and it actually looks legit

Saw this Eurogamer piece about a YouTuber called CityEd who made a GTA style map of London. The whole what if London existed in the GTA universe question gets asked every few years, and this guy actually sat down and drew the city out like a proper Rockstar map instead of just posting a hot take.

I'm not usually one for fan cartography, but there's something about seeing a real city reinterpreted through that lens. London's layout is so different from anything Rockstar has done recently. All those narrow streets, the river cutting through the middle, the Tube lines everywhere. It'd be a nightmare for driving but would make for some amazing chase sequences.

The article doesn't go super deep into the map details, just shows it off and lets people react. Which is fine. Sometimes you don't need a full breakdown, you just want to look at a cool thing a fan made.

With GTA 6 locked in for November and Leonida being the whole focus right now, it's easy to forget that Rockstar could eventually go anywhere. A modern London game would be a huge shift from Vice City and the rest of the US settings. It probably won't happen, but seeing a fan map like this makes you wonder what a Rockstar team could do with a city that dense.
