launch night squad? or are y'all just rawdogging the story solo
ngl i'm kinda torn. my friends are all gonna be in a discord call playing through the opening but like... it's a single-player game? i feel like i wanna soak it in alone, no distractions, just me and the vice city humidity. but also i'm broke and my headset is held together with tape so maybe that's just me coping lol
do y'all actually talk during cutscenes or is it more of a "we're all playing the same thing at the same time" vibe? i'm new to this whole launch night thing so idk the etiquette. lowkey scared i'll miss a tutorial prompt and crash lucia's car while someone's yelling about a gator
bro i learned this the hard way back in five. did the whole prologue in a vc with like six people and missed half the lore drops. couldnt tell you why michael was even in north yankton.
soak it in alone
exactly. when i jumped into RP later i had no clue why los santos felt the way it did. for six im rawdogging solo until the intro settles. lucia and jasons story hits different when youre actually catching the ambient radio and npc chatter. thats all worldbuilding youll need later when servers start spinning up lore-friendly factions in vice city.
if your headset is held together with tape anyway, take it as a sign. do the opening solo. squad up once rp servers start cooking.
