rockstar's french jokes are back in gta 6 and they're not subtle
Caught a screenshot from one of the GTA 6 trailers and Rockstar is at it again with the French. They've been doing this since GTA V, sneaking in words that mean something completely different than what you'd expect.
The screenshot shows a few signs or labels. One says "Le Foutre" which literally translates to "The Cum" in English. Another says "Lustré" meaning "Glazed". Then there's "Boufon" which is "Buffon" or "Clown". And "Bonbon" which is just "Candy".
It's not just this one shot either. People have been pointing out French words in the other GTA 6 trailers too. Rockstar clearly has someone on the team who loves this stuff.
I remember in GTA V there were similar jokes. French speakers would catch things that English speakers just gloss over. It's a fun little easter egg for anyone who knows the language. The best part is how innocent the words look on a sign until you know what they actually mean.
What other French words have you spotted in the GTA 6 trailers? Or do you think Rockstar does this on purpose as a nod to French players?
