Had a dream I was playing GTA 6 early, and the outfit change mechanic was wild
So I had this super vivid dream last night that I was playing GTA 6 on my base PS5. I've already pre-ordered it, so my brain is probably just too hyped for its own good.
I was running around as Jason, and there was this thing where if you held triangle while in your personal vehicle, you could change your outfit to lower or even wipe your wanted level. Like a quick disguise system. Pull over, swap shirts, and suddenly the cops don't recognize you. It felt so natural in the dream that I woke up thinking it was a confirmed feature.
The world itself was trippy. The roads and environment seemed to stretch on way more than they should, kind of like San Andreas on PS2, but without the fog. Everything just kept going. It gave the map this massive, endless feel, even though I was just driving around Vice City. Weird but kind of awesome.
Performance was odd too. It wasn't hitting 60 fps, but it didn't feel like 30 either. More like some 40 fps mode, if that's even a thing on base PS5. Smooth enough that I wasn't complaining.
Then I remembered Strauss Zelnick's whole "creative marketing" line, and my half-asleep brain decided Rockstar is beaming Outlast/Murkoff-level brain waves into our heads to make us hallucinate the game. /s
I'm pretty sure I saw another post on here about someone else having a GTA 6 dream. So maybe the brain wave theory isn't that far off lol. The wait is doing strange things to us.
