PC Gamer's entire GTA 5 article is just 'Quit staring' and I'm losing it

Saw this on PC Gamer today. The headline says 'Forget GTA 6, I have brought GTA 5 closer to being the true greatest game of all time: Hulk – Ultimate Destruction'. So I click, expecting some wild mod showcase or a deep dive into how someone ported Hulk destruction physics into GTA 5. Instead the entire article body is just two words: 'Quit staring.' That's it. No screenshots, no video, no explanation. Just quit staring.

I don't know if this is a joke, a glitch on their site, or the author actually made a Hulk mod and is telling us to stop looking at it, but it's the funniest thing I've seen from a major outlet in a while. The title alone is gold because it's basically admitting that GTA 6 is so far away that people are still trying to make GTA 5 into the greatest game ever by bolting on Hulk Ultimate Destruction mechanics. And honestly? I respect it.

For anyone who didn't play it, Hulk Ultimate Destruction was a 2005 game where you could smash buildings, throw cars, run up walls, and just cause absolute chaos. It's still considered one of the best superhero games ever. So the idea of bringing that level of destruction into GTA 5's open world is actually kind of sick. We've seen mods do crazy stuff, but if someone actually pulled off Hulk physics in Los Santos, that would be wild. But the article gives us nothing. Just 'Quit staring.' Maybe that's the joke, like the mod is so unstable or so cursed that the author is embarrassed to show it.

The car angle is what sells me on this. Hulk could palm two cars at once and swing them like bats. Now picture that in Los Santos. Some dude rolls up in a fresh show build, new paint, and it becomes a melee weapon. Gone. YEETED into a wall.

stat_soup nailed it. GTA 5's crush physics were fine for 2013 but nobody's ever let you weaponize traffic like that. If a modder actually got Hulk smash running on the Los Santos grid I'd install it tonight, cursed or not. Smash a few dollar cars on the way to the meet, that's content.

And yeah, the two word article makes it better. Feels like the mod bricked his save and he wrote the whole post out of pure shame.

and yeah, this is my white whale for Leonida. Destruction. Two trailers deep and we still don't really know how much of the world actually breaks when you hit it. GTA 5 let you mow through fences and light poles but half of Los Santos was basically made of concrete that just said no. If Rockstar gives Lucia and Jason even a slice of what Radical pulled off in 2005, nobody needs the Hulk mod, the sandbox does it stock. Big if though, I'm not holding my breath on them showing it before launch.

Meanwhile the most honest games coverage of 2026 is two words long. Quit staring, preorder anyway.
