rockstar still hasn't told us who voices jason and lucia and it's getting weird

Two months out from GTA 6 and we still don't have official word on who's playing Jason and Lucia. Compare that to GTA V back in 2013. By this point in the pre-launch cycle, we already knew Ned Luke, Shawn Fonteno, and Steven Ogg were Franklin, Michael, and Trevor. Rockstar wasn't shy about it then.

Now? Nothing. The Extended Look came and went, and they didn't drop the VA names. Meanwhile Stephen Root just casually confirms he's Brian, and that's great, but Brian's not the lead. He's a side character. We're all sitting here pretty sure about who's voicing the two protagonists based on interviews and credits from other projects, but Rockstar won't just say it.

What's the point of being this coy? A single tweet would settle it. They've got a billion dollar marketing machine and they can't answer a basic question fans have been asking for months. It's the same energy as the years where they wouldn't even confirm GTA 6 existed until some kid hacked their servers and forced their hand. That's the Rockstar way, I guess.

I get that they like mystery, but this isn't a story spoiler. It's a credit. The actors probably want to talk about it too, but they're stuck under NDA while Rockstar plays games. At this rate we'll find out when the credits roll on launch day.
