someone put together a full set of gta 6 trading cards using official art

Stumbled on this over on the GTA6 subreddit and figured it deserved a mention here. Somebody's been working on a full set of GTA 6 trading cards, the kind you'd see from Topps back in the day. They said the project started a while ago and just kept growing as Rockstar's promo campaign moved along. Every time a new stage hit, they added another category until the set was complete.

What got me is the presentation. They used official graphics pulled from the Rockstar site, so the cards don't look like cheap mockups. Adobe Illustrator for the card designs and Photoshop plus Illustrator for the graphics. The whole thing has that old school collectible vibe, which fits Vice City's whole aesthetic pretty well honestly.

They mentioned the main inspiration was Topps cards and older trading card sets. That tracks. I remember those GTA San Andreas sticker packs and weird promo cards from back in the day, so seeing someone do this for 6 feels right. The fact they kept adding categories as new trailers and the extended look dropped means the set probably covers a lot of ground. Characters, locations, vehicles, whatever else they cooked up.

They're asking what people think and whether they should finish it into a complete fan made set. I'd be curious to see the full lineup. If the quality holds up across all the cards, this is the kind of thing people would actually want printed. Not saying Rockstar would ever license it, but as a community project it's solid.

I'd buy a pack if they ever made physical ones, no lie.
