gamesradar says cyberpunk's new update makes it the anti-gta 6

Saw GamesRadar ran a piece saying Cyberpunk 2077's new update just turned it into the anti-GTA 6. Their whole argument is basically Night City over Vice City any day. Not much meat beyond that headline, but the comparison got me thinking.
I get why outlets keep pitting these two against each other. Both are open world crime games with a city as the main character. One's been out for years and keeps getting patches, the other isn't even out yet. So calling Cyberpunk the anti-GTA 6 is a weird flex. It's like saying a game that's already shipped is the opposite of one we haven't played.
What bugs me is the Night City over Vice City line. Night City is dense and vertical, all neon and rain. Vice City is flat, sun baked, pastel. They're not even trying to be the same thing. One is a cyberpunk dystopia, the other is a satirical take on Florida. Saying one clears the other is like comparing a synthwave album to a yacht rock record. Both slap, different moods.
I'm not saying Vice City is automatically better because it's Rockstar. I just don't see how a Cyberpunk update makes it the anti-GTA 6. If anything, Rockstar has been doing post launch support for GTA Online for years, so the anti framing feels like engagement bait more than an actual take.
Still, I'll give Cyberpunk credit for sticking with it. If GTA 6 ends up half as stable at launch as Cyberpunk is now, we're all eating good. But Night City over Vice City? Ask me again after November 19.
