mw4 beta extended 12 hours with double xp, 34 days before gta 6

Activision pulled the MW4 beta back from the dead today. It was supposed to shut down at 10 AM PT, but now it runs until 10 PM PT tonight. That's a full 12 extra hours, and they flipped on double progression XP and double weapon XP for the whole stretch.

If you're still grinding to level 30 for that weapon blueprint, this is your window. I know a bunch of people were stuck in the mid 20s and figured they'd miss it. Now you've got tonight, assuming you don't have work or school or a life.

After this beta closes, multiplayer is gone until October 23. Campaign early access hits a week before that if you preorder. So if you want any MW4 before late October, tonight is it.

Platforms are PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. First time CoD has been on a Nintendo console since Ghosts back in 2013. Also first time skipping last gen since Ghosts. Kind of wild they're doing both at once.

The part that actually matters for this forum: MW4 launches 34 days before GTA 6. That's a little over a month of CoD before Rockstar takes over my entire life. I'll probably play the campaign early and then drop it the second November 19 hits.

I'm not really a CoD guy anymore, but the beta was decent. The double XP thing is a nice gesture, but I'm not losing sleep over a blueprint. GTA 6 is the only grind I care about now.
