Will GTA 6's music last longer than GTA IV's did?

So I was thinking about that GTA IV update from 2018 where a ton of songs just vanished. Rockstar had licensed those tracks for roughly 10 years and when the deal ran out, poof. Gone. And that game wasn't even close to dead at that point, people were still messing around in Liberty City all the time.

Now with GTA 6 being the biggest entertainment launch ever, I'm wondering if Rockstar locked in longer licensing deals this time. Like, do they actually think 10 years is enough for a game that's gonna be played for two decades? GTA V is still pulling huge numbers and it came out in 2013. If they only got 10 year deals for GTA 6's soundtrack, we'd be losing songs by 2036. That feels way too soon for a game this massive.

I know nobody here has the actual contracts, but it's worth talking about. Rockstar has to know this game is gonna have legs. The online mode alone will keep it alive for years, probably longer than GTA V's run. So why would they cheap out on music licensing? Maybe they learned from the GTA IV situation and negotiated longer terms this time. Or maybe they'll just patch in new songs when old ones expire, like they did with some GTA Online radio updates.

Honestly I'd be pretty annoyed if I boot up GTA 6 in 2035 and half the Vice City radio stations are silent. The soundtrack is a huge part of the vibe, especially for a game set in a Miami-inspired city. You need those synthwave tracks and 80s hits blasting while you're driving down Ocean Drive at sunset.

I'm not expecting Rockstar to come out and say "we licensed these songs for 25 years" but it'd be nice to know they're thinking ahead. GTA IV's music removal was a bummer and I don't want a repeat with the game I've been waiting over a decade for.
