same npc in two different spots, rockstar's npc persistence is wild
Saw this screenshot comparison on the sub and it's got me more hyped than most of the big reveals. Same girl, same tattoo, same hair, same choker. One shot she's on a rooftop, next she's walking the street. That points to an NPC with an actual schedule.
I know GTA has had some of this before, but the fact that someone noticed it in a trailer or whatever this is from means Rockstar is leaning into it hard. The idea that NPCs have their own lives and you can run into the same person in different contexts is huge for immersion.
Imagine working a gas station during the day and then seeing that same attendant at a strip club at night. Or the bartender from one mission showing up at a food stand the next day. The city starts to feel like a place where people actually exist.
I'm not complaining at all. This is the kind of detail that makes me want to just walk around Vice City and follow random people to see where they go. If Rockstar actually built a system where NPCs have routines across the whole map, that's a game changer.
What other cross-context NPC appearances are you hoping to see?

ngl i've never played a gta before and somehow the thing selling me hardest is the idea of following one random npc around like a total creep. day one plan is ignore the whole story and see if the gas station guy actually shows up at the club lol
