The RDR2 style weapon carrying coming back is huge for me. I know some people are annoyed about limited slots but I think it's the best thing they could've done. In GTA 5 you just cycled through an entire armory in your pocket and nothing felt special. Now you actually have to pick a loadout before you leave the safehouse.

And the NPC reactions to bigger guns? That's the part I keep thinking about. Walking around Vice Beach with an AR slung on your back is gonna draw eyes. Cops might notice. Random pedestrians might cross the street. But a pistol tucked in your waistband? You're just another guy. That stealth lowkey playstyle is exactly what I want for free roam.

Attachments and livery customization on pistols is the cherry on top. I'm already planning my build. Leaning towards the Glock, assuming it's in the game. Something compact, reliable, easy to conceal. Maybe a suppressor for those quiet moments. I don't need a gold plated Deagle, I want something that feels like a tool, not a trophy.

It's wild how one small design choice flips the whole game. Limited carry capacity plus NPC awareness means every weapon choice matters. You can't just pull out a rocket launcher in the middle of a crowded street and expect nobody to react. You have to think about what you're carrying and where you're going. That's the kind of friction GTA has been missing.

I'll probably main a pistol for most of the story. Maybe keep a rifle in the trunk for bigger jobs. But day to day? Pistol only. It just feels right for a game set in Vice City. Low profile, high stakes.
