So I've been legally blind since I was 2, but for most of my life I could see well enough with what I'd call near perfect vision. That's changing fast now. Degenerative myopia, amblyopia, nystagmus, cataracts, the whole list. My left eye started going downhill a few months ago, and now my right eye is following. I get these "eye boogers" that won't go away no matter how much I rub, and double vision that just lingers. Bright light is the worst. Outside in daylight, people are just shadows. I can't make out faces or clothes anymore.

I'm not a huge gamer, but GTA and RDR are the exceptions. Realistic open worlds are my thing. I've been waiting for GTA 6 since the first trailer dropped back in 2023. November 19, 2026. That's the date I keep circling on my calendar. I just want to play through the whole game once. See Vice City, the Keys, all of Leonida. Lucia and Jason's story. I don't need to 100% it or anything. Just get from start to finish.

I know it sounds dramatic, but when your vision is going this fast, you start thinking about what you might miss. I've been following every scrap of info. The extended look on August 27th is going to be huge for me. I'll probably watch it on Netflix first, then again on YouTube. I want to soak in every frame while I still can.

Anyway, I don't know why I'm posting this here. Maybe just to get it off my chest. If you're reading this and your eyes work fine, don't take it for granted. And if you see me in a GTA Online lobby someday, go easy on me. I might be squinting at the screen.

Rockstar, if you're listening, please don't delay it again. I've got a window here and it's closing.

Man, this hit me right in the chest!

I want to soak in every frame while I still can.

That's the whole point of this medium right there. If those Leonida night drives hit like a classic Vice City block on Wave 103, all neon glow and reverb, you're going to feel it in your bones no matter what. Here's to November 19 and every single needle drop along the way!
