USA Today reporter is looking for fans who took off work for GTA 6 launch
Greta Cross from USA TODAY posted over on r/GTA6 looking for people to interview about the November 19 release. She's specifically asking if you took off work or plan to call out, and how many hours you're putting in that first weekend.
I saw the thread earlier and honestly it's kind of cool that a major outlet is covering the fan side of things instead of just the usual corporate preview stuff. Most of the time we get think pieces about violence or whatever, so someone actually asking about our launch plans feels refreshing.
I'm not taking off work myself, but I've got that Friday evening blocked off and I'm planning to go hard until Sunday night. Probably 20 plus hours if I'm being realistic. My wife already knows the deal.
If you're the type who scheduled PTO months ago or you're planning a sick day, she wants to hear from you. There's a Google Form in the comments of the original Reddit post. Phone or video call interviews.
I'm not going to sign up because I don't need my boss seeing my face in a national newspaper talking about skipping work, but I respect anyone who does. The more normal fans get quoted, the better the coverage will be.
