Emberville delayed to 2027, and for once GTA 6 isn't the reason

So Emberville, that ARPG that was supposed to launch tomorrow, just got delayed until 2027. One day before release. That's brutal for anyone who pre-ordered or took time off.
The devs came out and said it's not because of GTA 6. They need more time to incorporate feedback from the demo. Which, honestly, is the right call if the demo feedback was that rough. Better to delay than ship something broken. But it's funny how every delay in the industry gets blamed on GTA 6 these days. Rockstar's game is a monster, sure, but not every studio is running scared. Sometimes a game just isn't ready.
I feel for the Emberville fans though. A year delay after being a day away is a gut punch. But if they need the time, they need the time. I'd rather wait than get a half-baked mess. And it's not like GTA 6 is coming out tomorrow anyway, we still have a few weeks. Plenty of time to play other stuff before Leonida takes over my life.
Also, respect to the devs for being upfront about it. No blaming GTA 6, no blaming the market. Just "we need more time." That's rare these days.
