Movie tips to pass the time? Just saw one that screams GTA 6

I know we're all just staring at the calendar, waiting for November. So I figured I'd share something that helped me kill a couple hours and actually got me even more hyped for Lucia and Jason's story.

Caught a movie called Carolina Caroline last night. It's got that sweaty Miami chaos energy, a couple who start out pulling small-time jobs together, solid soundtrack, and some really fun car scenes. Not a big blockbuster or anything, but it scratched the itch. If you're into the whole "partners in crime" thing that GTA 6 seems to be leaning into, it's worth a watch.

It got me thinking, what else is out there that feels like a Bonnie and Clyde story but with that Vice City flavor? I've seen the obvious ones, but I'm sure there are hidden gems. Doesn't have to be set in Florida, just that vibe of two people against the world, making bad decisions and looking good doing it.

What are you guys watching to get in the mood for Leonida? Any recommendations that capture that chaotic couple-on-the-run energy?

That slow spiral from small-time gigs to total chaos is where the best character work lives. I'm banking on Leonida understanding that.

Never caught Carolina Caroline but if the cars slap I'm in.

That's where it's at. Give me a beater Sentinel with a mismatched kit and a turbo that WHINES. Outrun flicks through parking garages hit different. Real Vice City flavor is all about the getaway.
