that aerial shot from the trailer still lives in my head rent free

I keep going back to that one wide shot from the trailer, the one flying over the water with the little seaplane and boats. The water clarity is what gets me. You can actually see the reef and sandbars shifting color as the depth changes, and it looks so natural. Not like a game at all, more like drone footage of the actual Florida Keys.

The scale is what sells it. Those tiny boats and the seaplane give you a sense of how big the world is, and it's just background scenery you fly over for a few seconds. Rockstar's really going for that 'every frame could be a postcard' level of detail, and I'm here for it.

What's the one shot from the trailers you keep coming back to?

The sandbars visible through that water might mean the reef is physically modeled underneath. Seems like that'll lead to weird boat beaching glitches at low tide if it's dynamic.

That's the real next-gen feature. Their postcard worlds always break the moment you actually touch them.

The water clarity is sick but I'm holding out for a garage shot.

Two trailers deep and still no proper look at the tuner scene. I need to see engine swaps widebody kits drift sets. Give me a slammed coupe doing a burnout and I'll LOSE it.

That scale means more roads for midnight runs anyway. Map looks huge.
