The Netflix extended look is just a modern Game Informer cover story, and the whining is getting old
I keep seeing people lose their minds over the Netflix thing, acting like Rockstar is forcing us to pay for an ad. But honestly? If this extended look is packed with details and facts about the game, it's basically the 2026 version of those old Game Informer cover stories everyone used to go crazy for. You'd get a huge spread with new screenshots, dev interviews, all that good stuff. This feels like the same energy, just on a screen instead of a magazine.
And the complaining about having to wait a few weeks or a few hours for the YouTube drop is wild. Nobody's making you subscribe to Netflix. You can catch it later that same night, or just find a reupload somewhere if you're that impatient. It's not that deep.
I'm only 19 and even I remember when people just got excited about new info instead of immediately finding reasons to be mad. The internet's gotten so loud about everything. Sometimes I just wanna be hyped without the constant negativity, you know?
Anyone else feel like the reaction to this is way overblown?

ngl i'm too broke for netflix anyway lol. waiting six hours for the youtube drop costs zero dollars. people just wanna be mad at rockstar for anything now. i'm just sitting here trying to figure out who tommy vercetti is
Exactly. Waiting a few hours isn't big deal, and I'm just hyped to see more.
