we're already 30% through the wait since the extended look

Checked the calendar this morning and did the math because I'm losing my mind a little. The extended look dropped August 27th. Launch is November 19th. That's an 84 day stretch. We're 25 days in, so about 30% of the wait is already behind us. 59 days left.

Feels like it's crawling but when you break it down like that it's a decent chunk.

Also I keep seeing people convinced Rockstar will delay it again. I get the anxiety, but the pattern doesn't really support a last minute delay at this point. GTA IV got pushed 75 days before its original date, and that was the most recent "close" one. GTA V's last delay came 90 to 120 days out. RDR2 was 120 to 150 days out. We're at 59 days. Rockstar hasn't done a delay that close to launch in a long time.

I'm not saying it's impossible, but the historical window for their delays has passed. They've had the date locked since the extended look.

So yeah, 59 days. Just under two months. We're closer to the end than the start of this final stretch.

What's everyone doing to make the last stretch feel less like purgatory?

ok so the delay math is honestly what keeps me sane too, and the part people skip is that the marketing machine is already moving on schedule, trailers, extended look, pre-orders live since june. Rockstar doesn't light that fuse and then hit pause at 59 days out, that window closed like you said.

me I'm rewatching trailer 2 and pretending I spot new details every time. sometimes I actually do!
