Went back and lined up a few shots from the Extended Look against the earlier trailers. The title makes more sense now, a lot of these scenes are literally just longer versions of stuff we already saw. Not a bad thing, just interesting to see how Rockstar reuses and expands moments.
The Mendez bit where the cop turns around is a good example. The walls behind him have way more graffiti and grime now. You can tell they've been polishing the environment since the first reveal. It's not a huge change but side by side it's pretty obvious.
Rob Nelson mentioned they converted some cutscenes into playable moments so you feel more involved. That explains why some of these extended shots feel different, not just longer. They're giving you control where before it was probably a cinematic.
I'm not complaining. Seeing the same location with that much extra detail makes the wait feel worth it. November can't come soon enough.
