How long should a day last in GTA 6? I'm thinking an hour.

Nobody really talks about this, but the day/night cycle speed is lowkey one of those things that can make or break the vibe. GTA's always had pretty fast clocks, like 48 minutes for a full day in V. It worked, but Leonida looks so detailed I'm wondering if Rockstar should slow it down.

Imagine cruising from Vice City down to the Keys with the sun setting, or just parking somewhere in Grassrivers and watching the sky change. A longer day would make those moments feel way more real. You'd actually get to live in the world instead of feeling like the sun is on fast-forward.

But there's a flip side. If a full day takes two hours, waiting for a mission that only triggers at night could get old fast. I remember in V, sometimes I'd just stand around for 10 minutes waiting for it to get dark. That's not fun either.

I'd probably go with around an hour per in-game day. Long enough to enjoy a road trip without the sun zipping across the sky, but not so long that you're stuck in broad daylight when you want to hit a nightclub. Feels like a sweet spot.

What's your ideal cycle length? Or do you even care as long as the world looks good?
