bulkhead is taking a month off and telling players to go play gta 6, can't say i blame them

Saw this earlier and it got a genuine laugh out of me. Bulkhead, the studio behind Wardogs, is going dark for a month. Their message to players was basically go play GTA 6, we need to detox.
GamesRadar's writeup was one sentence long, something like "say less." That's the whole energy here.
The timing couldn't be better. GTA 6 hits in a little over two weeks. Half the gaming world is about to disappear into Leonida. Bulkhead knows its playerbase is going to be occupied, so they're just leaning into it instead of pretending everything is normal.
What I appreciate is the bluntness. Most studios would release some carefully worded statement about taking time to recharge and come back stronger. Bulkhead told people they can f off, in a friendly way, and go play Rockstar's game. That's refreshing.
I've seen smaller live service games try to compete with a huge launch before and it never ends well. Better to shut down for a bit, let the team rest, and come back when the dust settles. And if you're a Wardogs player, you now have an official excuse to spend a month in Vice City.
Do you think more studios should just take a break during GTA 6 launch week, or is it a bad look to tell your own players to go play something else?
