police uniform breakdown from official gta 6 footage, matched to real florida agencies

Someone on reddit went through all the official screenshots and trailers and lined up the cop uniforms with their real life counterparts. The amount of agencies Rockstar is pulling from is kind of wild.

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission gets a direct nod. Easy to spot if you've ever seen FWC officers around the everglades.

Then there's what looks like undercover DEA agents. Not exactly a uniform but one of them has an STF patch. Could be Special Task Force. The poster compared it to Miami's Special Response Team, the unit that helped the DEA grab 116 pounds of meth tied to the Sinaloa cartel in South Florida last year.

Broward County Sheriff's Office shows up too. The weird part is Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office is in the game but they're wearing the same uniform as Broward. That was from the first trailer back in 2023. Rockstar either changed it since or it's intentional. Real Miami-Dade officers wear something different.

Miami Police Department and Miami Beach Police Department both have their own looks. The corrections guys are loosely based on Florida Department of Corrections. Key West Police Department is in there as well.

It's a lot of agencies for one map. GTA V had LSPD and a few county sheriffs but this feels way more granular. I'm already dreading the wanted level variety.
