that hey man this aint even loaded line is some of the best voice acting in a rockstar game
Whoever voiced that line put real fear into it. You can hear the desperation, like the guy is genuinely scared out of his mind. It's the kind of small moment that makes the world feel alive. Great acting matters way more than people give it credit for in these games.
The grandma window escape got me too. That reaction felt exactly like something my own grandmother would do. Rockstar nailed the way regular people act when chaos shows up at their door. It's funny but also grounded, which is a hard balance to hit.
I know GTA 5 had a ton of comedy and I'm sure GTA 6 will have its share. But I'm really excited that they seem to be going heavier on the serious tone, closer to RDR2. That game had some of the best performances Rockstar has ever put out and it made the story hit way harder.
For me the voice acting and those little human moments are what I'm most hyped about. The big set pieces are cool but it's the fear in a random line or the way a side character reacts that sticks with me. I'll take that over explosions any day.
