Preordered today. Feels weird, happy but also kind of sad underneath. I started gaming back in 2010 on a Pentium PC running Windows XP. Vice City was installed on that thing. I remember how much of a pain it was to get it running, then I played it for years. Since then I've played Forza, CS, PUBG, RDR, Tekken, all kinds of stuff. Now I've got machines my younger self would have killed for. But the feeling isn't the same. Maybe that's just growing up.

Vice City kicked off my gaming life. GTA 6 feels like the right place to close it out. I keep thinking about how different it was back then. No day one patches, no preorder bonuses, just a disc and a PC that barely handled it. Now I'm about to drop money on the newest entry and it's probably the last one I'll be this invested in.

See you in Vice City one last time.

Anyone else feel like this is the end of an era for them?
