I have added roving bands of militant furries to Grand Theft Auto 5

PC Gamer just posted about a GTA 5 mod that adds roving bands of militant furries to the game. The modder's whole justification is that it makes things more realistic, which is either a joke or a deeply concerning statement about where they live.

I've seen a lot of weird GTA 5 mods over the years. Zombie apocalypses, superhero powers, turning every car into a DeLorean. But militant furries roaming the streets in packs is a new one. The article doesn't go into much detail about how they behave, but the phrase "roving bands" suggests they're on the move, probably in groups, and the word "militant" implies they're not friendly.

Part of me wants to install this just to see what happens when you get a wanted level. Do the furries fight the cops? Do they fight each other? Do they just chase you down in a fursuit mob? The article is light on specifics, but the mental image is enough.

It's also a reminder that GTA 5's modding scene is still alive and kicking even with GTA 6 a month and a half away. People are still finding new ways to break Los Santos, and honestly that's the best part of PC gaming. Consoles get the polished experience, but PC gets the fever dream mods.

I'm not saying I want militant furries in GTA 6. But if the modding tools ever open up for Leonida, I know exactly what the first mod will be. Some things are inevitable.
