people will call gta 6 slow and boring, same as they did with rdr2

RDR2 had the snowy mountain opening and that long ass ride to Horseshoe Overlook. People bitched about it back then, but now those same moments are held up as some of the best in the game. I'd put money on the same thing happening with GTA 6.

You can already picture it. There'll be a stretch early on where you're just driving through Leonida with Lucia and Jason, maybe some quiet mission that's mostly dialogue and scenery. And this sub will fill up with threads calling it a slog or saying Rockstar forgot how to make games fun. Same cycle every time.

But those slower parts are why the big set pieces land. If every mission was a shootout, none of them would matter. The quiet stuff builds the world and makes the chaos feel earned. RDR2's prologue works because you spend an hour just surviving a blizzard, and by the time things go wrong later, you actually care about the gang.

GTA 6 doesn't need to be nonstop action. I'd rather have a few slow, immersive moments that stick with me than another generic open world checklist. And yeah, you only get one first playthrough, so I'm not gonna rush it.
