booked a full week off for launch. 2 days isn't enough.

I put in for the full week, Monday through Friday. My manager didn't ask questions. Two days is a mistake if you're serious about the first playthrough.

  1. Server stability. Even with a single-player focus, day-one patches and online checks can brick a session. A 48-hour window leaves no buffer if PSN or Xbox Live chokes.
  2. Map scale. Leonida isn't just Vice City. The Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn. You can't absorb that in a weekend. I want to clear the story without skipping dialogue to meet a Monday deadline.
  3. Spoiler quarantine. By Tuesday morning, every thumbnail on YouTube will have the ending. A full week means I can go dark and finish at my own pace.

I pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition. The Vintage Vice City Pack is a nice bonus, but I'm not touching Online until the campaign is done. That's another 20 hours minimum. Two days is a speedrun. I'm treating this like a heist: proper prep, no rushed exits.

What did you book and what's your reasoning?

This. So much this. Took the whole week myself because by Tuesday YouTube's a minefield.
