Anyone else lowkey nervous about another delay before November?

I know pre-orders are live and we've got a solid date on the calendar, but I can't shake the feeling. Rockstar's track record with delays is basically a meme at this point. GTA V got pushed, RDR2 got pushed, and we all remember the 'coming 2025' trailer that turned into fall 2026.

Insider Gaming just put up a piece looking at the actual odds of a last-minute slip, and it got me thinking. We're about four months out. Marketing's been ramping up, sure, but we still haven't seen a proper gameplay blowout or Trailer 3. Some folks say that's just Rockstar being Rockstar, keeping things close to the chest. Others point to the pre-order date as a sign they're locked in.

I'm not trying to doompost. I've got my Ultimate Edition pre-ordered and I'm counting the days. But I also remember the silence before the last delay. What do you all think? Are we actually going to be playing on November 19th, or is there a 'we need more time' blog post waiting for us in October?

Pre-orders don't lock a date. They're just a marketing heat check.

silence before the last delay

That feels familiar. November 19 is only real once the discs are pressed. Until then it's a suggestion. Hope I'm wrong.

I'm putting the odds at 75 percent we hit November 19. Pre-orders aren't legally binding, but they're a soft commit that costs Rockstar real money to break. The bigger tell is the marketing tempo. We're four months out and still missing Trailer 3 plus any hands-on gameplay cycle. That gap is hard to ignore.

only real once the discs are pressed

True, but we're closer to that manufacturing window than we were in 2025. The silence is stressful. It reminds me of waiting for the getaway in Three Leaf Clover while the clock ticks. I'm keeping my Ultimate Edition locked in. If they need another month to nail mission flow, I'd rather wait than get a buggy day one build. I think the physical pipeline is already warming up.
