so what are we actually waiting for now?
The August showcase was great, but now I'm back to refreshing this sub every day wondering if there's more coming. I don't want to sound greedy, I loved the extended look, but I keep thinking about what Rockstar has planned between now and November 19.
We're basically halfway through September and there's been no official word on the next drop. Could be another trailer, could be one of those documentary style videos about the world, could be character deep dives, or maybe they just go quiet until launch. The wait for the showcase felt endless, and now I'm not sure if I'm waiting for another marketing beat or just the game itself.
Rockstar usually goes dark after a big reveal, but the Netflix thing was weird and different. They might have more surprises. I'd love a proper look at the map or a breakdown of the wanted system, but honestly I'm fine if they just let the game speak for itself. I've been burned by overhyping before, and the extended look already gave me plenty to chew on.
I'm just gonna try to enjoy the wait and not obsess over every rumor that pops up. The game is close enough now that I can almost taste it.
