I recreated the GTA 6 trailer in RuneScape

I posted the full OSRS recreation of the first GTA 6 trailer last week, and it got way more attention than I expected. So I threw together a side-by-side comparison to show how each shot lines up with the original.

This was a blast to make. Replacing modern cars with gnome gliders and magic carpets, turning the strip club into the Party Room, swapping the gator for that swamp lizard from Morytania. Some scenes were surprisingly easy to match, others took way too long to get the camera angle right.

The hardest part was definitely the beach scene. Getting that many NPCs to stand in the right spots without wandering off was a nightmare. And the mud wrestling clip? I had to use two players emoting in the swamp. Not exactly the same vibe, but close enough.

Anyway, hope you guys get a kick out of it. The alligator replacement is my favorite, even if it looks a little derpy.

Bro the vehicle selection is KILLING me. Gnome gliders and magic carpets? That's not a car meet that's a circus act. I respect the hustle though.

The swamp lizard replacing the gator is lowkey genius. Better than most body kits I've seen in actual games. And using the Party Room for the strip club? Perfect. OSRS knows how to party.

Beach scene sounds like a nightmare. NPCs never cooperate. Reminds me of trying to line up a clean cruise photo and some rando in a stock Sultan drives through the shot.

Mud wrestling with swamp emotes is peak jank. Sometimes you just gotta send it with what you got.
