the 'too expensive' crowd is getting old

I swear every other post I see lately is someone clutching their pearls over the $80/$100 price tag. Same thing on the German PlayStation sub too. It's exhausting.

I paid $70 for GTA 5 back in 2013 and got thousands of hours out of it. Late nights with the boys grinding Pac Standard, dying to stupid glitches, laughing so hard I couldn't breathe. The kind of memories you don't get from a 2 hour movie that costs $40 after tickets and snacks. And that movie's gonna be on some ad-infested streaming service in a year anyway.

Now we're looking at a game that'll probably last another decade, and suddenly $100 is a crime? The math doesn't math. Even if you only play the story once and dabble in Online, you're still getting way more entertainment per dollar than almost anything else.

And the "I don't have time to play" argument. Okay, that sucks for you, but why should the rest of us care? The game's value doesn't drop just because your schedule is packed. Nobody's forcing you to buy it day one. Wait for a sale if you want, but stop acting like Rockstar is robbing you.

I'm not saying $80 or $100 is pocket change. It's a lot upfront. But for what you're getting, it's still one of the best deals in gaming. If you're gonna put hundreds of hours into Leonida, the price per hour is pennies. That's more than I can say for most $70 games that are forgotten in a month.

frankly the rp scene is gonna stretch that $100 across years. fivem and whatever r* builds in will turn leonida into a fulltime job if you're hooked. story mode is just the tutorial. i've seen people drop more on subpar rp server donations in a month.

$80 is literally my textbook fund for a week lol. i'm not saying it ain't worth it eventually.

but asking a broke college kid to drop a hundo upfront is wild.

wait is rp really that deep? i thought you just robbed banks and chased cops.

now i'm scared i'll end up living in leonida instead of studying.

still gonna eat ramen for a month and cop the standard edition though. ngl the math does math if you play it for years.

i'm just impatient and poor. at least the vintage vice pack looks sick

I've 100 percented every GTA campaign since III.

Hard disagree. If Leonida's heist design matches Three Leaf Clover or The Big Score, that $80 upfront pays for itself in one flawless run. Online is just the side content.
