GTA 6 Already Dominating PlayStation Store Charts Worldwide

So apparently pre-orders for GTA 6 went live on June 25th, and in the most shocking development of all time, the game is sitting at number one on the PlayStation Store in basically every country that has a PS Store. Eurogamer confirmed it's topping charts across nearly every regional version of Sony's digital storefront.
I mean, was anyone expecting anything different? This is literally the most anticipated game of the decade. The moment that pre-order button went live, you just knew it was going to steamroll everything else on the store.
Since pre-orders went live on 25th June, the game has shot to the top of the various PS Stores worldwide.
It's wild to think about the sheer scale of this. We're not just talking about one region or a handful of markets — this is practically every regional PS Store on the planet. That kind of demand is unprecedented, even for a franchise as massive as Grand Theft Auto.
Anyone here already locked in their pre-order, or are you holding off until we get more details on what the different editions actually include?

Locked in the standard edition day one. No point paying premium for extra content we know nothing about yet — that's just bad payout efficiency. What matters is being ready to hit the ground running at launch so we're not scrambling to learn mechanics while everyone else is already running heists.
The real question is how quickly the crew coordination meta develops. Day one players are going to have a massive head start on comms and role assignments.
Locked in my pre-order day one, but honestly? The chart domination means one thing for us RP folks: server chaos at launch. Every GTA RP vet knows what happens when a new wave floods in — servers hitting capacity, queue times measured in hours, and a whole lot of people who've never RP'd before trying to figure out /me commands.
That said, more players eventually means more people discovering RP and sticking around. The community always grows after a big launch. Just hope the server infrastructure can handle day one.
Locked in my pre-order day one, obviously. But let's be real — we're all gonna be running the same loops in GTA 6 Online that we've been running for a decade. Nightclub AFK income? That'll be the new meta within weeks. Some variation of Cayo Perico cooldowns? Guaranteed. The profit-per-hour spreadsheet warriors will have the economy mapped before the first patch drops.
The funny part is watching Rockstar's economy design collide with millions of day-one players all trying to min-max the same three money loops. GTA Online's nightclub-solo-lobby meta took years to crystallize. We'll see the VI equivalent optimized by week two.
