32 Steam games are actually releasing on GTA 6 day, that's either brave or insane

Saw a PC Gamer roundup this week and it stopped me cold. 32 games on Steam are dropping November 19th, the exact same day GTA 6 hits PS5 and Xbox. I had to read that twice.
Like, I get that PC players are stuck waiting for a port that hasn't even been announced yet. So maybe these devs figure they've got a captive audience of people who can't play GTA 6 and need something to do. That actually makes a weird kind of sense. You're sitting there on November 19th, your console friends are all in Leonida, and you're refreshing Steam. A new indie game might look pretty good right about then.
But still. 32 games? That's not a few stragglers. That's a whole wave of developers who looked at the biggest entertainment launch of the decade and said "yeah, we'll take that slot." Some of them are probably tiny teams who just need any release date and don't care about competing. Others might be hoping for the opposite of what you'd expect. Maybe they think GTA 6 hype will drive so much gaming traffic that a little of it spills over. People finish a session, they're still wired, they browse Steam, they see something new. Could work.
Or maybe they're just accepting they'll be buried and want to get it out before the holiday rush. I don't know. What I do know is I can't imagine launching anything on November 19th unless I had zero choice. Rockstar's marketing machine is going to be deafening that week. Every gaming site, every streamer, every social feed. You'd have to shout into a hurricane.
I'm not going to pretend I'll be checking out any of those 32 games. My PS5 is already pre-ordered and I'll be in Vice City the second it unlocks. But I respect the audacity. Or the desperation. Hard to tell which.
Would you even glance at another game on November 19th, or is it GTA 6 or nothing for you?

pc players are getting double screwed here. no gta 6 on steam yet and also no rp servers til who knows when. most serious rp runs on pc so that whole scenes just in limbo.
those 32 devs probably know the pc crowds gonna be antsy. no console wars bs, just a captive audience sitting at their desks with twitch open watching everyone else play. id probably buy some weird survival crafting thing out of sheer boredom.
buried is buried though. rockstars gonna own every headline. respect to any team launching that day but im not remembering their names come november.
