pc gamer reached out to jack thompson about gta 6 and it did not go well

Saw this PC Gamer piece pop up and had to laugh. They actually tried to get Jack Thompson on record about GTA 6 taking over the world. The guy who spent the early 2000s raging against violent videogames, trying to get GTA pulled from shelves, all that. Apparently he hasn't mellowed one bit.

It's wild to think how much has changed. GTA is about as mainstream as it gets now, grandparents know what Vice City is. But Thompson is still out there with the same energy, according to the article. PC Gamer says it didn't go well, which I guess means he either hung up, yelled at them, or went on one of his old rants about Rockstar corrupting the youth.

I remember when he was everywhere. Every news channel wanted his hot take on San Andreas and the Hot Coffee thing. Now GTA 6 is poised to be the biggest entertainment launch ever and this guy is still swinging. Part of me almost respects the consistency. Most people would have moved on by now.

Do you think Rockstar even cares about this guy anymore, or is he just a relic from a different era?
