Take-Two says GTA 6 pre-orders have been 'exceptional' so far

Just saw the latest from Take-Two's earnings call. They're calling GTA 6 pre-orders 'exceptional' already, and we're still months out from launch. No hard numbers yet, but the wording is pretty strong.

Pre-orders went live back on June 25th, with the Standard Edition at $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition at $99.99. The Vintage Vice City Pack was the pre-order bonus, so I'm guessing a lot of people locked that in early. I know I did.

It's wild to think the game doesn't drop until November 19th and they're already this confident about the numbers. Makes you wonder what the final pre-order tally will look like by the time the extended look drops on August 27th. That Netflix showcase is probably going to push a ton more people over the edge.

Anyone else grab their pre-order yet, or are you waiting to see more gameplay first?

Threw down for the Ultimate Edition day one. $99.99 stings but I'm hoping the extra content is worth it for a garage head like me. Waiting on that August 27 extended look to see if the tuner scene gets real love. Need proper engine swaps widebody kits and drift sets. Not just flashy stock cars with bolt ons.

If Rockstar builds a real car culture system this game eats. Period.
