Virgin Media O2 now doing GTA 6 pre-orders for 5p a day in the UK

I saw this and immediately thought about how these daily cost breakdowns always sound better than the actual total. 5p a day is nothing on its own, but if the plan runs for a couple years you're probably paying the same or more than just buying the game outright. Preorders have been open since late June, so this is just another way to spread the cost instead of dropping the full amount at once. I get why companies do it, especially with the Ultimate Edition sitting higher, but I'd rather know exactly what I'm signing up for before committing to a monthly bill for a game that isn't out until November.
