rockstar boss says gta 6 driving is gta 4's best bits with gta 5's ease of use

Caught a GamesRadar piece where a Rockstar boss talked about the driving model in GTA 6. The gist is they're aiming for the best parts of GTA 4's handling but with the accessibility of GTA 5. That's a combo I've wanted for years.
GTA 4's cars had real weight. Body roll, suspension travel, tires that actually mattered. You could feel the difference between a beat up sedan and a sports car. But it was also punishing. Tap a curb wrong and you'd spin out. GTA 5 fixed that by making everything snappier and more forgiving, but it lost some of that physicality. Cars felt glued to the road in a way that got boring after a while.
If Rockstar actually pulls off a middle ground, that could be huge. I don't want GTA 4's ice skates back, but I also don't want every car to handle like it's on rails. I've been replaying both games back to back and the difference is night and day. GTA 4 makes you work for every corner. GTA 5 lets you mash the throttle and still look cool. If GTA 6 can make cars feel heavy and distinct without making me rage quit during a simple drive to the beach, that's the sweet spot.
What I'm hoping is that the accessibility part means the learning curve isn't as brutal. A quote from a boss is one thing, actually feeling it with a controller is another. Anyone else worried they'll lean too far one way? Or is this exactly what you wanted to hear?

heavy cars would make pursuit rp so much better, no more suspects pulling perfect 180 flicks at 120mph. been wanting this exact combo for years
Weighty handling makes the driver slot actually mean something again. Picking the getaway car stops being cosmetic and becomes a real loadout call.
