rewatched the latest trailer and caught some small details i missed
I keep going back to the latest trailer and every single time there's something new. This run I grabbed a few frames I haven't seen anyone mention yet.
First one, two pedestrians on the sidewalk flinch hard when a cop car comes flying past. You can see them physically recoil before the car even clears the frame. That kind of reaction timing is wild.
Then there's a shot with a guy walking near what looks like a helicopter tail rotor. The guard or cover is off, and his path takes him right toward it. I'm not saying Rockstar would let an NPC get diced, but the way he's angled, it really looks like he's about to find out.
The bullet trail near Lucia got me too. There's a frame where a round passes right by her and you can see the smoke trail lingering. It behaves like actual smoke, drifting for a beat before it fades.
The last couple shots I saved are just for the lighting. There's smoke in one of them and the way the light cuts through it is ridiculous. Screenshots don't do it justice.
Rockstar's attention to tiny stuff like this is why I'll be pausing every cutscene on day one.
