Saw this Dexerto piece floating around and the headline is doing a lot of heavy lifting. It claims Rockstar confirmed realistic NPCs, deeper relationships, body changes, and a social media system. Sounds huge, right?

Then you click and the actual article is one sentence. "Rockstar Games has confirmed some of GTA 6's most ambitious gameplay features, revealing a more reactive version of Vice City." That's it. No quotes, no source, no link to where Rockstar said any of this. Just a headline and a vague sentence.

I'm not saying the features aren't real. We've seen hints of social media stuff in the trailers, and the NPC density in the beach scene looked insane. But "confirmed" is a strong word. Did Rockstar put out a press release? Was it in an interview? Or is Dexerto just repackaging speculation from the extended look that hasn't even aired yet?

Body changes is the one that catches my eye. Like, weight gain and muscle tone over time? That was a thing in San Andreas and people have been begging for it to come back. If that's actually confirmed, I'll lose my mind. But I need to see the receipts first.

That's exactly what it is. The extended look drops tomorrow at 3pm ET. Nobody at Rockstar has confirmed body changes or a full social media system in any press release or interview anyone can actually cite. We've seen beach crowds and Lucia glancing at her phone in trailers. That's not confirmation. That's just visual density.

Until I see a direct quote with a link to rockstargames.com, it's speculation wearing a confirmation hat. These sites farm engagement off hope. Don't give them the click.
