rockstar is driving real life gta 6 cars around miami now

Insider Gaming has a quick post up about Rockstar's latest marketing move. Apparently actual cars from GTA 6 are out on the streets of Miami right now. Real vehicles done up to match whatever's in the game, just driving around the city.

No details on which cars or how many, the article is pretty short. But this feels like a step up from billboards and trailer drops. Rockstar's ad campaign has been everywhere since pre-orders opened back in June, and now they're putting physical cars in the real life version of Vice City. That's a whole different level.

I keep thinking about how weird it would be to just be walking around Miami and see one of these roll past. You'd do a double take, then realize it's Rockstar spending real money to make people look up from their phones a month before launch.

Miami makes sense obviously, Leonida is basically Florida with the serial numbers filed off. But I wonder if they'll do this in other cities too, or if it's just a Miami thing for now.

Would you even notice one of these if it drove past you, or is this the kind of promo that only lands when you see it on a feed later?
