ps5 pro stock is a joke and i'm this close to just waiting for a gta 6 bundle

I've been around since GTA 5 launched. I was in 5th grade on release day, and now it's been five years since I graduated high school. So yeah, the hype for GTA 6 is real.

My main setup is a pretty overpriced gaming PC that handles everything I throw at it. But GTA 6 isn't coming to PC at launch, and I can't picture myself waiting another year or two for a port. I told my friends I'd hold out for the PC version, but after that extended look? I literally can't stop thinking about it.

So I bought an OLED TV, an LG C6 55 inch, 4K 120hz, for the office. It's ready to go. The problem is the PS5 Pro I planned to pair it with doesn't exist in my house yet. It's been about a week of me checking stock, and nothing. Scalpers have bots grabbing units within seconds of them appearing online.

I've got two buddies who work at different Best Buy locations. They already know to hold one for me if a shipment comes in. One of them told me today that our entire state doesn't have a single unit in any distributor warehouse. That's rough.

I'm not in a huge rush though. There's a decent chance Rockstar or Sony announces a PS5 Pro GTA 6 bundle before November, so I might just wait for that instead of fighting bots. My wife is already tired of hearing me ramble about GTA 6 lore, so I needed to vent somewhere.

Anyone else stuck refreshing retailer pages hoping a PS5 Pro actually shows up, or are you just waiting to see if Rockstar announces a bundle?
