GTA 6 is so big it's already making 2027 a monster year for PS5

I know we're all counting down to November 19, but I just saw Push Square talking about how 2027 is already looking insane for PS5. And the reason? Publishers are running scared from GTA 6.

We've seen a bunch of delays lately, and it's not because games aren't ready. It's because nobody wants to launch anywhere near Rockstar's behemoth. So everything's getting shoved into early 2027. The craziest example: a new God of War is apparently dropping just six weeks into the year. Six weeks! That's basically still holiday hangover territory and they're already throwing a massive exclusive at us.

I'm not complaining though. By the time I crawl out of Vice City sometime in December, I'll have a whole new lineup waiting. The way things are going, 2027 might end up being one of those years where there's a big release every month. All because GTA 6 scared the entire industry into next year.

What other games do you think are gonna get pushed to 2027 just to stay out of Rockstar's way?

"Running scared" is good marketing. Most of those 2027 games simply aren't finished yet.
