PlayStation always gets the marketing deal. GTA 5 had exclusive weapons, vehicles, and early access to Online updates. For GTA 6, I'm betting on 48 hours early access to the full game, not just Online. That's 48 extra hours to grind before Xbox players even load in. If the first business loop is anything like Cayo Perico, that's $1.5M per hour solo. 48 hours of no-lifing it is $72M head start. That buys every property, every upgrade, and a fleet of weaponized vehicles before the competition has a single dollar.

But the real perk will be an exclusive business property. Probably a nightclub or MC clubhouse with a permanent 2x production speed buff. That's not just cosmetic. That's a permanent 2x multiplier on passive income. If a fully upgraded nightclub makes $50K per in-game day, that's $100K per 48 minutes. Over a month, that's an extra $1.5M per week just for logging in. The break-even on the Ultimate Edition's $99.99 price tag versus Standard is 2.5 hours of that buff. After that, pure profit.

Rockstar won't give exclusive heists, but they'll give the tools to out-earn everyone else. And they'll charge for it. $79.99 base, $99.99 with the Vintage Vice City Pack, and probably a $129.99 PS5-only edition with the business. I'd pay it. The ROI is too good.

ok so the marketing deal is basically guaranteed but that $129.99 tier isn't happening, we already know the launch SKUs are $79.99 and $99.99. early access for single player feels way too divisive but an exclusive business property with buffs? that's classic rockstar FOMO! i'd bet on timed exclusive dripfeed content over a whole extra price bracket.

I don't think that $129.99 idea is possible, we already know is just the Standard and Ultimate editions.

Yeah maybe, but exclusive business with permanent buff? That's too crazy even for Rockstar. Here in Brazil the Ultimate Edition already costs small fortune. I hope they keep it fair.
