GTA 6 is a 210GB download, says PlayStation Store sleuth

Someone poked around the PlayStation Store backend and found GTA 6 listed at 210GB. GamesRadar picked it up. That's not officially confirmed by Rockstar yet but it lines up with what a lot of us expected after the extended look.

210GB is wild. My PS5 has a 1TB drive and the usable space is already down to like 600GB after the OS and a few games. GTA 6 alone eats a third of that. Add Call of Duty or whatever else you play and you're basically living on one game at a time. I had to delete three things just thinking about it.

For comparison RDR2 was around 150GB after all the updates and GTA V on PS5 sits close to 100GB. So 210 is a big jump. The pre-load line from that article makes me think this might be the size we download before launch, day one patch could add even more.

I know a lot of people bought those external SSD drives when the PS5 first came out, and now I'm starting to see why. I might finally pull the trigger on a 2TB internal drive just for this game. The thought of waiting for a 210GB download on launch night while my friends are already in Vice City is painful.

Some folks are saying this could be a placeholder number that Rockstar updates later, but the source found it pretty deep in the store data, not just some random listing. Could still change, but I wouldn't bet on it going down much. The extended look showed a ton of interiors and that map is huge.

Anyone else already planning their storage purge for November? What are you deleting to make room?
