manni l perez just smiled through every lucia question on her stream

Caught the VGC piece about Manni L. Perez's stream and it's exactly the kind of non-answer we've come to expect from anyone even tangentially connected to Rockstar right now.

She's the actor a lot of folks have pegged as Lucia for a while now. During some introductory livestream she apparently got a bunch of comments asking about GTA 6 and just smiled, didn't read any of them out loud, and moved on like nothing happened. No denial, no confirmation, no wink to the camera. Just silence.

I don't know if that makes it more or less likely she's actually in the game. If she wasn't involved she could just say so and shut it down. But Rockstar's NDAs are legendary and even saying 'I can't talk about that' might be considered too much. Plenty of actors have had to dodge questions about projects they're not in just to avoid fueling rumors too.

The fact she didn't even acknowledge the comments is funny. Most streamers would at least laugh or say 'no comment' or something. She just kept going. That feels like someone who's been coached, or someone who's tired of the same question every single day.

Rockstar's kept the whole cast under wraps this long, so I'm not expecting anyone to slip up now. We're weeks out from launch and they still haven't officially confirmed who's voicing Lucia or Jason. At this point the silence is its own kind of confirmation.
