gamesradar thinks gta 6 could finally fix that old rage graphics bug

Saw GamesRadar running a piece about GTA 6 maybe fixing a graphical bug that's been hanging around since GTA 4. The actual article snippet is pretty thin, just says the RAGE engine might be getting a long overdue upgrade. No specifics on what the bug actually is, which is kind of annoying because now I'm sitting here trying to remember every little visual quirk Rockstar's games have had for the last 18 years.
RAGE has done a lot of heavy lifting, but it's definitely had its share of weirdness. Pop-in, shadow flicker, that thing where distant objects look like they're made of cardboard until you get close. If any of that finally gets cleaned up for Leonida I'm all for it.
The timing makes sense too. Rockstar's been talking about how GTA 6 tech is a big leap, and if they rebuilt parts of the renderer it wouldn't shock me if some old bug finally got squashed. I just wish GamesRadar would say which one they're talking about instead of leaving it as a headline.
Either way, a month out from launch and we're still getting little teases about engine fixes. That's fine by me. If the game looks as clean as the trailers suggest, I won't miss whatever was broken.
